We are into October and I'm excited to share with you all the going's on at SHiELDS this month.
So, we have our first class of the month this Friday 6th October.
You will be working with the extremely talented (and lovely!) Adam Rhys Charles.
(Those who remember Adam from the last time and to those newbies this year, Adam and I played opposite each other in 2016 playing Bert and Mary Poppins!)
Adam skills as an actor and as a Acting/Voice coach are truly inspiring, I know you'll get a lot out of the session. I really want you to focus in on the voice work as we move into this month again, it's an important part of your training.
As I always say, think up some questions to ask our coaches. They have all been there and are still working in the industry. It's a unique opportunity to get that much needed advice or help directly from people who care and are here to help : )

Our Mock Casting and Agency Session is on Friday 20th October and this month, will be led by Casting Director Bailey Frances from Shakyra Dowling Casting.
Scripts will follow on email, so keep an eye out.
Again, this is to be a very beneficial session and great to be seen by a team that really champion new and raw talent for their upcoming film and commercial projects.

Keep an eye out, we will be posting on this platform soon about a Headshot session for those who are in the Northern area of the UK. This will be a friend of mine who is a photographer who will travel from London to work with you all! : )
This will be a mix of headshots and portrait photos, so we can get some good commercial shots too. You can check him out on instagram @robinkent.photography
He's going to create a unique look for SHiELDS, those who are based in the South, he is also availble to book indivually if you wish to have new photos. Just let me know and I'll liase with him.
The date this will happen will be Sunday 19th November, which is the same day as our in person session in South Shields. Those who are in class, it will be scheduled around your class times.
